Comfortable headphones for a medical transcriptionist?

February 13, 2010

I’m studying to become a medical transcriptionist and would like some ideas on what kind of headphones are best. Preferably some that are noise cancelling. I need some that are comfortable because I will be wearing them for long periods of time. I’m currently using earbuds but want to change before classes start back on January 7th, the earbuds are really uncomfortable to me and after about 20 minutes they get really irritating. Suggestions please!

Bose makes really good headphones. Headphones are like a lot of things though, if you want high-quality, you’re going to pay more. Here’s a link that will give you somewhere to start.
