I am having trouble finding a school that teaches medical transcription online and accepts a federal grant that I can obtain instead of having to pay for it out of my pocket which is impossible for me to do at this time. I have over 30 years of legal experience and want to broaden my possibilities of returning to work when the job market opens up again. I have searched online and keep hitting road blocks by being misguided by varioius schools and their financial departments.

I know that you can go through a local community college or even through Everett. Their course is the same as this one (you can view a demo after you fill out the form): http://www.careerstep.com/wah/?uid=a1403 It is more expensive than if you go through Career Step itself but they will accept federal aid. Otherwise if you want to go through Career Step, they have payment plans and they are offering a 10% discount with promo code 10percent. That might help you. But you can at least check out the course demo before you enroll so that you can be sure that it is a course that you will like.
