A few months ago, I talked to a program manager at a local community college and here is what he advised me. In three to five years, Medical Transcription will be obsolete. Medical Clinics and hospitals are going into electronic records more and more. Eventually, paper records will go away entirely. I would encourage you to talk to a program coordinator at a community college near you before you waste your time and money.
its not hard at all. i work at a hospital, and there is great demand for these positions. but if you really want to get into the medical field, go into nursing. in a few years theres going to be a really high demand for this job.
It depends on where you want to live so you need to do some research…Go to your local job service, check out careerbuilder.com, or look through the classified section in the newspaper. Transcriptionists are in demand in my town as well, but the pay is not good. So again, please do lots of research before you decide on what to spend your education money on.
I guess it depend to what type of medical fields you want to get in to.Pick it up those medical matters that are demanding to your county.Enjoy, and love the field of your job in order you to success, and be famous of it.okay ! good luck and all the best to you.
