I'm applying for a medical transcription job and one of the questions is asking why I'm qualified for it?

And it wants to refer to my work history and education.

I’m thinking of saying something along the lines of this: "Have a background in healthcare, having worked in . Completed 1-year at Mid-State Technical College and 72-hour internship at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield."

I have always been told not to use words like I or me in an application or , which is why I phrased that the way I did.

I would mention in particular the exposure you have had to medical terminology "while working (what job) in nursing homes for X years…

Maybe also detail the types of documents you have done and in which specialties.
