I’m thinking of saying something along the lines of this: "Have a background in healthcare, having worked in nursing homes. Completed 1-year medical transcription program at Mid-State Technical College and 72-hour internship at Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield."
I have always been told not to use words like I or me in an application or resume, which is why I phrased that the way I did.

I would mention in particular the exposure you have had to medical terminology "while working (what job) in nursing homes for X years…
Maybe also detail the types of documents you have done and in which specialties.
