Hi everyone and welcome to my site!
My name is Kate Delaney and I'm from Illinois. I created this site to share my story about how I made a mid-life career change that changed my life.
I went from being a high school graduate with a series of low paying jobs, and even some time on unemployment, to becoming a professional with a stable and well-paying career.
I found the training, financial aid, and even job placement help all online. Now, I don't have a job; I have a career! I'm a Medical Transcriptionist and I love it! Read my story.

I do medical and general transcription from home. I’m a virtual assistant and I contract for small businesses, small doctor’s practices and also large transcription companies that outsource their work. I don’t know I guess that sounds good, but more importantly is your accuracy of the transcript that you provide back.
I wish that I had the answer to that. Please though do Not get sucked into those ads for ‘at-home’ jobs in medical transcription
Perhaps you can take a course at the local community college and find out that way or even talk with one of the instructors. Just having some courses, however, I think can make one more marketable.
