What kind of job could I pursue, or continue education with these credentials?
I am having a very hard time in finding a job with the way the economy is this year.
I may have an interest in Business, but I’m not too sure about where to go with it.
Medical Assisting class courses completed, but not certified. I also have a Medical Transcription Certificate.?

You could look at becoming a medical office assistant with emphasis on clinical and transcription. There are some medical office jobs that don’t concentrate in either one of these categories. You could also go by some of the medical clinics, psychology clinics etc. that you can see if you can do some home transcription work or something like that.
As far as medical transcription goes, it depends on the school you went to. You will have a difficult time finding a job in medical transcription, even if you went to an AHDI-approved school. It the medical transcription coursework was peripheral to the medical assistant course, then I don’t recommend you even try a job in medical transcription.
As far as medical assisting, I’m not aware that there is a certification for it.
If you want to pursue medical transcription, I would recommend you go to the AHDI site and check out the approved schools.
