Seeking Information About Medical Transcription/Billing?

I am trying to find a reliable source regarding medical transcription/billing. I’m interested in trying to do this from home so my daughter doesn’t have to go in to daycare. Does anyone know where the best place to get started would be? Thanks for the advice.

Rick Ross June 25, 2010 at 4:17 pm: if working from home doing medical billing i would suggest may years of experience in order to be successful. You can look at the billing page at PureMedicalJobs.com for jobs in that field and more
Homegirl June 25, 2010 at 4:17 pm: Rick gave you good information. For good training Meditec.com offers training in both coding and billing. If you do billing at home there will be other start up expenses like expensive billing software. Have you considered doing medical transcription instead?
