You have to be good at typing and listening and grammar, English & medical terminology. A community college or vo-tech school may provide you with the training you would need.If you are interested in the medical field there are many different types of work such as medical technologist that perform the tests on a person’s blood. There is going to be a shortage of them just like nurses & pharmacists so you have lots of options. Good Luck!

My mom is one and she doesn’t like it she only makes like 14 an hour but she works for a small hospital. It has a lot of potential for making tons of money. Depending on if you have your own business and get your own doctors you could make a lot but it is hard to understand foreign Dr’s you have to be able to look up LARGE medical terminology and you only need a certificate my mom didn’t even do a 4 yr degree just a certificate. she doesn’t like it because she types for 8 hours straight and gets tired and bored and she had to buy a chair over 1000 dollars because her back was hurting and she had to have her own office in our house that has to be secure and quiet because of confidentiality.
