		<description>I wouldn&#039;t pursue it unless you&#039;re sincerely interested in medical transcription, enough that you&#039;d be willing to do it in an office.  It&#039;s not a quick learn, and a lot of folks end up heartbroken trying to become good at a job they in which they were never interested in the first place.  The working conditions are wonderful, but it takes a long time to become proficient enough to make decent money.  

Don&#039;t let the &quot;work-at-home&quot; thing color your decision.  It could seriously detract from your quality of life.</description>

Employers may hire graduates from some schools without experience, so the school you select will make a difference. Very few transcription services or doctors offices are willing to train someone with no education in medical transcription and no experience.</description>
